Flight Information
Flying to South East Asia - Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and LaosWe don’t currently offer a flight booking service as we found that with so many online flight booking companies, the majority of our clients preferred the flexibility to shop around in order to find the best fares.
For quick comparisons, TravelSupermarket is a useful site that compares fares from most of the big online booking agencies. Or if you would prefer to speak to a real person, Trailfinders are one of the most helpful companies we’ve come across and usually seem to find some of the most competitive fares too.
All that said, if you are having trouble or would just like us to help you in your search, please do let us know. We’ll be only too pleased to advise.
British Airways, Thai Air and Eva Air all fly direct to Bangkok. Eva Air also offer premium economy upgrades for not much more than the economy fare, if you feel like flying in a little more comfort.
If you don’t mind flying indirect – which usually means only a short stopover, and sometimes not even getting off the plane – there are numerous other airlines who fly from London to Bangkok and this can sometimes work out slightly cheaper, in compensation for the minor inconvenience.
Vietnam Airlines are the only airline currently operating direction flights from the UK to Vietnam (Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City).
Alternatively, the most convenient route is probably London to Bangkok and then taking a short 60 – 90 minute flight onwards from there, although flying to Paris and then getting a direct flight into Vietnam is another option.
We can arrange overnight stopovers in Bangkok if you’d like to break your journey before continuing to Vietnam.
